As an AMS Senior Recruiter, you will support client hiring managers with filling their vacancies to target start dates ensuring all quality thresholds and KPIs are met, and value is generated for AMS. The role of the Senior Recruiter is to develop and deliver excellent recruitment services to the client in line with agreed service levels. The Senior Recruiter is also responsible for building excellent relationships within the hiring manager community to identify opportunities for direct hiring and provide guidance to ensure a best practice approach to resourcing is adopted. This is a key role that requires a responsive, strategic and client-facing individual.
It is a hybrid role, 1 day per week at the client’s location in North York, ON.
What you’ll do:
- Build strong relationships with senior hiring managers, providing expert guidance and delivering end‑to‑end recruitment support
- Lead vacancy consultations, define hiring requirements, and shape sourcing and attraction strategies in partnership with the Sourcing team
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring high‑quality shortlists, smooth processes, and an excellent candidate experience
- Ensure the recruitment service is delivered, in line with contractual obligations and client service levels
- Contribute to the commercial success of the account through the achievement of NFI (monthly and annual) targets. Accountable for delivering to target start dates
- Advise hiring managers on selection decisions, lead offer negotiations, and support workforce planning discussions
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and coach junior team members on best practices
- Maintain accurate data across systems, ensure compliance with relevant legislation, and identify risks or scope‑creep issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, talent pipelining, and cross‑functional projects that enhance overall service delivery
- Mentor / guide members of the sourcing and admin team on best practice approaches, client culture and support them in achieving success in their role
- Ensure all AMS and client systems are updated in a correct and timely manner
- Forecasting placements based on demand, changes in the client’s business, the candidate pipeline and trends in business demand
- Producing timely and accurate activity and management information reporting
- Support the hiring manager with deciding which candidate to hire and guide them in determining an appropriate offer. Close the candidate: broker the offer with the chosen candidate, manage objections and support the candidate during their notice period
- Responsible for the management of candidate relationships and their satisfaction with the recruitment experience until start date
- Ensure that all changes to a candidate’s status are tracked on the ATS to enable accurate reporting

- We are committed to pay transparency and fairness. For this role, the initial expected remuneration for CAD is $78,000 - $103,000 USD plus applicable benefits.
