Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced <PERSON> to join our team in a full-time or contract capacity. In this role, you will oversee food preparation, manage kitchen operations, and lead a team to deliver outstanding food service. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a deep understanding of food safety and hospitality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen activities, ensuring efficient food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards.
- Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.
- Oversee food handling procedures, maintaining strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate food service operations, including serving guests and managing food presentation to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support food industry best practices by implementing quality control measures and maintaining cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and reporting shortages or issues.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety protocols while maintaining high standards of hospitality throughout service.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within restaurant or foodservice environments.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques.
- Previous restaurant management or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and serve guests efficiently.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
