Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of food and beverage service standards. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have a memorable visit in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manually
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and addressing any needs or concerns
- Handle food with care, adhering to food safety and handling protocols
- Assist in food preparation or barista tasks as needed to support the team
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Process payments accurately and thank guests for their patronage
- Uphold hospitality standards by providing friendly, professional service at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality industry preferred but not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to serve multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings if needed
- A friendly demeanor, professional appearance, and positive attitude are essential
- Experience as a barista or in the food industry is a plus but not required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as necessary
