- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate emergent curriculum
- Create documentation, and child developmental portfolios
- Strong communication and skills and asset
- Knowledge of licensing requirements and adhere them in daily practice
- Practice problem solving approach with children in guiding their behaviour
- Willing to learn and play with children
- Successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, and work well individually and part of the team
Qualifications:
- Alberta Childcare Certification- ECE Level I, II or III
- Current First Aid certification: Standard Level C CPR
- Current Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)
Compensation:
- Base salary to be discussed during interview process
- Wage top up depending on certification level
- Minimum three weeks vacation and five days paid sick leave
