Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media strategies across various platforms to enhance brand awareness, drive traffic, and support our e-commerce initiatives. Duties
- Develop, implement, and manage social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
- Create compelling content including graphics, videos, and written posts using Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Conduct keyword research and SEO optimization to improve content visibility and engagement.
- Find and coordinate pop-up markets across Ontario
- Travel and commute to the store location for video shoots and content creation
- Assist with planning, setup, and execution of pop-up events as needed
- Support on-site brand activations and customer engagement during pop-ups
- Manage social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer to ensure consistent posting schedules.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using Google Analytics and platform insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with overall branding and marketing strategies.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely manner to foster community interaction.
- Manage Facebook Advertising campaigns to increase reach and conversions for e-commerce products.
- Proofread all content for accuracy, tone, and brand consistency before publishing.
- Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, platform updates, and best practices to continually improve social media strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on social media management.
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrating social media strategies with online sales efforts.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research techniques.
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer.
- Ability to analyze data using Google Analytics to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Experience with Facebook Advertising and other paid social media campaigns is preferred.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in content creation.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices in social media engagement.

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
