Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line/ Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and work the grill delivering high-quality meals to our guests. This role is essential in maintaining efficient kitchen operations and contributing to a positive dining experience. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is required.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation for various menu items
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food handling areas
- Assist with cooking tasks, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling dishes
- Support the team during busy hours to ensure timely meal service
- Maintain proper storage of ingredients and supplies according to safety guidelines
- Ensure all food prep areas are sanitized and organized at all times
- Assist with meal assembly and plating as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain hygiene standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work weekends.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
