ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Member Dining Server to provide exceptional food and beverage service to our members and guests. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience by delivering attentive service, maintaining a thorough knowledge of menu offerings, and upholding the Club's high standards of hospitality. This position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about customer service and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Please note this is a seasonal position with possibility for extension.
This is a full-time position with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends based on Club events and operational needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide exceptional food and beverage service to Members and guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of menu offerings, daily features, wine selections, and Club amenities.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages according to Club service standards and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of dining areas, service stations, and side stations.
- Complete opening, ongoing, and closing side duties as assigned.
- Ensure tables are properly set and dining areas are maintained to the Club's standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Anticipate Member needs and respond promptly to requests and concerns in a professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and fellow service team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Handle payments and process transactions accurately, where applicable.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, health and safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Attend department meetings and training sessions as required.
- Assist with special events, banquets, and Club functions as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional Member experiences.
- Smart Serve Certification (required).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and service-focused during busy periods.
- Minimum 2-3 year of food and beverage service experience preferred, ideally in a private Club, fine dining, or upscale hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service is considered an asset.
- Understanding of food safety and health and safety practices.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Commitmentto maintaining the Club's high standards of service and professionalism.
