We're a well-established lumber yard located in Spruce Grove, AB, looking for dedicated Forklift Operators/Laborers to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Our ideal candidate is someone who values growing with our company, working in their local community, and taking pride in their work. Relevant work experience is an asset but is not necessary for the position.
As a Forklift Operator/Laborer with our company, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently building various types of customer orders. You will also be trained in the safe operation of chainsaws, sliding saws, package saws and bandsaws. Any wood processing experience or inventory control experience is an asset. You will also be responsible for keeping the yard clean and lumber flat stacked in an orderly manner.
To be considered for this position, applicants must be safety conscious, have the ability to take direction, and work well in a team environment. Applicants must be self motivated, reliable and have a strong work ethic. Applicants must be able to work in all weather conditions (Hot, cold, dusty, standing, walking, sitting) as well as be physically fit to lift heavy materials.
