We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our busy, high-production machine shop in Edmonton.
The ideal candidate will have previous inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and experience using precision measuring equipment. Knowledge of API thread measurement is required.
Responsibilities
Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and thread measuring tools
Perform API thread inspections and measurements
Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records
Identify and report non-conforming parts
Work closely with machinists, supervisors, and management to maintain quality standards
Follow shop procedures and safety requirements
Requirements
Previous quality control or inspection experience in a machine shop environment
Experience with precision measuring tools
Knowledge of API thread measurement
Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable attendance and good communication skills
Ability to commute to Edmonton or relocate before starting work
