Job Overview
Mow & Grow is seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Assistant to support our lawn care management team. This role involves trimming, push mowing and running a blower. The ideal candidate will have an interest in lawn care management, and outdoor work, with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry. This position offers hands-on experience in a detail oriented lawn care company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with lawn mowing, trimming, and the blowing of grass clippings off driveways and other hard surfaces
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including hand tools, and small engine equipment
- Perform general lawn care maintenance tasks including spring and fall clean-up
- Follow safety protocols in order to ensure a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in lawn maintenance is a plus; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physical tasks including walking while trimming, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. It gets hot out there!
