At Hawthorn Landscape, we are looking for motivated and positive Landscape Maintenance Field Staff to support our maintenance and enhancement work throughout Squamish and the Sea to Sky corridor. In this role, you will be part of a close knit team delivering high quality landscape maintenance, planting, and restoration work.

- Reliable: You show up on time, prepared, and ready to work. Your team can count on you to follow through and give a consistent effort each day.
- Physically Capable: You are comfortable with manual labour, repetitive movement, and lifting up to 60 lbs. You enjoy staying active and working with your body.

- Motivated to Learn: You are open to feedback, eager to improve, and interested in building skills over time. Experience is an asset, but attitude matters most.
- Adaptable: You are comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions and shifting priorities. You can adjust as the day unfolds.
Objectives:
Landscape Maintenance and Enhancement
- Assist with garden bed care including weeding, edging, pruning, raking, and general upkeep
- Mowing, string trimming, hedge work, and seasonal cleanups
- Planting trees, shrubs, perennials, bulbs, and ground cover
- Support restoration work in forested and riparian areas
Team and Site Support
- Support crew leads and teammates with daily tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site
- Represent Hawthorn Landscape with professionalism and care at client properties
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous landscaping, trades, or outdoor work experience is an asset but not required
- Plant identification, horticulture training, or certifications are a bonus
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Comfortable performing physical work for a full workday
- Valid BC driver’s license is an asset
Compensation & Benefits:
- Wage: $25-$30/hour, based on experience. End of season bonus for staff who work until the end of the season.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
