Kozak Ukrainian Restaurant is a fast-growing hospitality brand focused on authentic, high-quality Ukrainian cuisine. As we continue to expand, we are excited to announce the opening of our 5th location in North Vancouver and are now hiring for this new location.
We’re looking for passionate, reliable, and growth-minded cooks to join our back-of-house team. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, we provide hands-on training and a professional environment where you can grow and succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Execute dishes across hot, cold, and expo stations during service
- Assist with prep to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
- Follow food safety standards and assist with kitchen cleaning
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of kitchen experience preferred (motivated beginners welcome)
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable, responsible, and hardworking
- Weekend availability
- Experience with KDS systems is an asset
- Food Safe Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain—we can help)
Compensation & Growth
- Probation Period (6 weeks): $19/hour + tips
- After Probation: $21–$25/hour + tips(based on performance, reliability, and versatility)
This is a universal line cook role - you’ll be trained to work across all stations (hot, cold, expo), making versatility key to your success and growth.
