We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Labourer and Class 5 Driver. This role includes a mix of hands-on labour tasks and operating a one-tonne truck for deliveries, pickups, and site support. You’ll be an important part of keeping projects running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labour duties on residential and commercial job sites.
- Operate a one-tonne truck to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from worksites.
- Load and unload materials safely, ensuring secure transportation.
- Assist with site setup, cleanup, and other required tasks.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate documentation such as delivery records and daily route sheets.
- Follow all company safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 license with a minimum of 3 years’ driving experience.
- Experience operating a one-tonne truck.
- Clean driving abstract (to be provided if possible).
- Strong knowledge of local routes and surrounding areas.
- Physically capable of performing manual labour, including lifting and carrying materials.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented.
