Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, heavy equipment operation, and a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, and cranes to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving activities to ensure timely delivery of products
- Utilize warehouse management systems (Spire) for inventory tracking and order processing
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of products and materials in accordance with safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and stock levels
- Support manufacturing processes through material handling and equipment operation
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Assist in construction or warehouse setup projects as needed
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse environment
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse distribution or manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficiency with order pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment operation required
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (SAP, Spire), and inventory control procedures preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy equipment maintenance is a plus
- Experience in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, packaging, and load & unload operations highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures
