Midas is looking for a strong people-first leader to help run our busy automotive service location in Nanaimo.
This is not just a counter position. We are looking for someone mature, organized, customer-focused, and confident leading the day-to-day operation of a store alongside our technician team.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing the front counter and daily workflow
- Greeting customers and building relationships
- Answering phones and converting inquiries into appointments
- Preparing estimates and explaining repairs clearly
- Following up on inspections and recommended work
- Coordinating workflow between technicians and customers
- Managing scheduling and same-day opportunities
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, professional store environment
- Assisting with team leadership and accountability
- Training and developing front counter staff
- Helping improve sales performance and customer experience
- Handling customer concerns professionally and calmly
What We’re Looking ForIdeal Candidate:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to sell automotive services and build customer trust
- Ability to train, coach, and develop staff
- Previous automotive service advisor or management experience preferred
- Organized and calm under pressure
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and leadership mindset
- Strong sales and relationship-building ability
- Able to work independently and make decisions
- Experience with shop management software is an asset
- Automotive knowledge is strongly preferred

Compensation

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays as required
- Flexibility during busy periods may be required
