Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to interpret blueprints, utilize various tools and machinery, and ensure that all projects meet quality standards. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication processes
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on various metals with accuracy and consistency
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal parts
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment safely to move heavy materials and components
- Measure materials precisely using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring devices; apply basic math skills for accurate cuts and assemblies
- Fabricate ductwork, structural components, or custom metal parts according to project specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques with a strong understanding of welding safety standards
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery operation including plasma cutting tools, press brake machines, and machining equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and assembly processes
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, schematics, and basic math for precise fabrication work
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to construction or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of schematics for electrical or mechanical systems involved in fabrication projects
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while adhering to safety regulations
