Under the responsibility of the Director, Workforce Planning and Production Employees Management, working closely with Team lead, Workforce Planning, Assignment Coordinators and Supervisors, Production Employees, the job holder must proceed with resource assignments (salaried employees and freelancers as needed) on local and international projects.
This is a hybrid position with a required two days/week in-office
Your day will look like this:

Receive technical resource requests per project, analyze the needs, and define the right type of resource to allocate according to the parameters and conditions specified in the contract

Ensure to assign employees in a successful position that matches their qualifications to contribute to operational success and improve the quality of customer service

Schedule employee shifts according to established parameters in the system, ensuring compliance with deadlines and budgets
-
Plan and coordinate accommodation, per diem, and transportation for employees
-
Transmit additional information to employees about assignments (local tours and events)
-
Monitor and validate project timesheets
-
Provide support for the team’s administrative operations, including participating in payroll processes, creating external resources in company systems, and processing related invoices when required,
-
Communicate relevant information to supervisors, including leave requests, employee availability, and other workforce-related updates,
-
Maintain recurrent communication and follow-up with the production employee group,
-
In close collaboration with the Supervisors team, maintain constant communication with various internal labor requestors,
-
Any other related tasks as assigned.
Your profile:
-
AEC or DEP in administration or any other relevant training,
-
2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the entertainment industry in a similar position,
-
Proficiency in French, both written and spoken, an asset,
-
Technical experience an asset,
-
Excellent mastery of Office suite software (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.),
-
Strong organizational skills, a keen sense of urgency, demonstrating judgment, tact, and diplomacy,
-
Very strong planning, organization, and coordination skills, including the ability to prioritize in a context of tight deadlines,
-
Strong customer approach and interpersonal relationship skills.

Solotech provides a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position in accordance with Ontario pay transparency requirements. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, location, experience, training, certifications, and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined at the time of hire. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly wage range is $25,14 to $33,51.
