Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host/Hostess/Busboy to join our dynamic restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have a welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. Your primary responsibilities include managing guest seating, assisting with food service, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hospitality skills and gain valuable experience in the food service industry.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors
- Handle guest inquiries courteously and provide information about menu items when needed
- Support food service staff by delivering dishes or beverages as directed
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing when necessary
- Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality throughout all interactions
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in all areas of the restaurant
Skills
- Excellent guest services and customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Prior experience in serving, hospitality, or food service is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette for engaging with guests and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including seating procedures and basic food service practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $16.00-$31.09 per hour
