About the Role
As a Music Teacher, you will foster a love of music while helping students build skills in performance, composition, and musical literacy. You'll blend the Alberta Curriculum with Stoney Nakoda values, guiding students to explore their musical identities through voice, instruments, and technology.
This role is about more than teaching music—it's about building confidence, celebrating culture, and strengthening community through the arts.
What You'll Do

Teach music literacy, theory, and performance skills

Lead instrumental and vocal instruction across grade levels

Organize concerts, assemblies, and cultural performances

Integrate music technology and recording tools into learning

Create meaningful connections between school and community through music

Collaborate with Elders, families, and colleagues to enrich student experiences

Support school-wide initiatives, including land-based learning and cultural programming

Qualifications-
Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
