Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Carpenter or Apprentice to join our construction team. This role involves working on diverse projects including residential, commercial, and restoration sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in carpentry, woodworking, and construction practices, with the ability to read blueprints and operate various tools and equipment. Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, framing, siding, roofing, and tile laying as required
- Install cabinetry, flooring, drywall, and other finish carpentry tasks including cabinet installation and woodworking projects
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct restoration work including surface repairs and structural modifications
- Assist with construction painting, caulking, electrical wiring, plumbing fixtures, and handyman tasks as needed
- Measure and cut materials precisely for various applications using appropriate tools
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for all team members
- Support heavy lifting and material handling to ensure smooth workflow on-site
Requirements
- Proven experience or training in carpentry or construction-related fields; prior apprenticeship or related coursework is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents accurately
- Familiarity with concrete forming, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, siding, roofing, and electrical or plumbing systems is desirable
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and woodworking equipment
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
- Valid driver’s license preferred for site travel purposes
- Handyman experience or additional skills such as electrical or plumbing experience are advantageous

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour
