Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, food safety, and customer interaction within a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Duties
- Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches and salads according to Subway standards
- Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections
- Operate the POS system, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained
- Handle food properly, adhering to health regulations and safety guidelines
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment throughout shifts
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving concerns promptly
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems, and cash handling skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
