We are currently hiring Full-Time Extrusion Operators for a plastics manufacturing company located in the Pine Valley and Steeles area. Candidates will be responsible for operating and overseeing Plastic Film Extrusion machines.
This position requires rotating shifts and availability to work up to 6 days per week when required.
Shift Schedule (Rotating Required)
- Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Night Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate plastic film extrusion lines
- Load correct raw materials into machines
- Maintain consistent material supply levels
- Monitor machine operation and material mixture
- Troubleshoot and report mechanical or operational issues
- Perform basic machine maintenance
- Maintain material inventory
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Transfer plastic materials for inspection and packaging
Requirements
- Must be able to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, nights)
- Must be available to work 6 days per week if required
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Manufacturing experience is an asset
PAY: $20.00 per hour
