We are currently seeking an experienced skilled HVAC Technician or experienced apprentice with some refrigeration experience to join our team, beneficial to have a level 2 or level 3 Gas certification. As a technician, you will play a key role in the installation and repair of commercial refrigeration, residential and commercial furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, water heaters, building retrofits, new construction and general service and maintenance. HVAC technician duties involve installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Technicians also perform routine maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, read technical diagrams, ensure safety compliance, conduct performance tests, and provide customer service and record-keeping.
Installation & Setup
Install Systems:
Assemble and install new HVAC equipment, ductwork, and related components according to blueprints and specifications.
Pressure Testing:
Test installed systems for leaks and properly charge them with refrigerant.
Calibrate Systems:
Calibrate and test newly installed systems to ensure they are operating correctly.
Maintenance & Repair
Routine Maintenance:
Conduct regular maintenance, including cleaning components like filters and ducts, to optimize system efficiency and longevity.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems within the system to identify the cause of malfunction.
Repairs:
Make necessary repairs and replace faulty or damaged parts and components.
Emergency Services:
Respond to and perform emergency service calls to address urgent system failures.
Diagnostics & Performance Testing
System Tests: Perform tests on various units to check performance and efficiency.
Identify Defects: Locate and adjust any defects or issues found in the HVAC system.
Pay: $22.00-$40.00 per hour
