ABOUT THE POSITION
The DC Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting customer order fulfillment, and ensuring efficient inventory flow across ECCO Distribution operations. This position oversees inventory control activities, inventory movements, customer order coordination, and inter-distribution center transfers while serving as a key link between Distribution Center Operations, Sales, and Customer Service.

DUTIES
Inventory Management & Control
- Execute cycle counts, stock validations, location audits, and inventory reconciliations.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory movements and stock levels to support replenishment planning and minimize shortages, overstock, and obsolete inventory.
- Manage stock transfers, adjustments, returns, damaged goods, and quarantine inventory.
- Support annual physical inventories, periodic audits, and inventory accuracy of KPI targets.
Operations Coordination
- Coordinate customer orders by releasing them to the warehouse to meet required ship dates.
- Coordinate and action DC-to-DC shipments and inventory transfers to maintain efficient inventory flow.
- Review open orders daily and prioritize shipments based on customer requirements and operational needs.
- Monitor inventory shortages that may impact customer orders and escalate concerns as needed.
- Verify inbound and outbound shipment accuracy and resolve inventory-related exceptions.
Communication & Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory availability aligns with customer and business requirements.
- Communicate daily schedules, operational updates, inventory concerns, and workflow changes that may impact service levels.
- Provide timely updates regarding order status, inventory availability, and operational impacts.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes, operational efficiency, and service performance.
- Support warehouse process optimization initiatives and system enhancements.
- Promote compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in Inventory, Distribution, or Operational procedures is required.
- Familiarity with Supply Chain processes (e.g., inventory management systems and processes) is essential.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical ability with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items may be required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
