Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks such as floor waxing, carpet cleaning, and window washing as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap in restrooms and break areas
- Conduct basic facilities maintenance tasks including light repairs or reporting issues to management
- Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to established protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Pay: $15.50-$16.00 per hour
