Job description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for bubble tea and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the work area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Maintain cleanliness in the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas to meet food safety standards.
Assist with food preparation as needed, including pastries and light snacks.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks while maintaining quality service.
Skills
Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in food preparation or food service roles.
Strong cash handling skills with experience using POS systems and cashiering duties.
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and help them with their needs.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
Ability to move and clean throughout the store.
Capacity to stand for long periods.
Availability to meet the needs of the business that may include days, nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
