AI Automation & Business Intelligence Analyst
ProShipper Inc. & KapscoMoto | GTA | Full-Time
About the Role
We're not looking for someone who uses AI as a shortcut — we're looking for someone who builds with it. As our AI Automation & BI Analyst, you'll design and deploy intelligent workflows that drive our eCommerce and 3PL fulfillment operations forward. This role sits at the intersection of business intelligence, AI-powered automation, and operational systems — and you'll own it end to end.
If you've built n8n pipelines that actually run in production, prompted your way through Claude or GPT APIs to automate real business logic, and know when AI is the right tool versus overkill — this role was written for you.
What You'll Own
AI-Powered Automation
- Design and deploy end-to-end automation workflows using n8n as the primary orchestration layer — connecting WMS, marketplaces, carriers, databases, and internal tools
- Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) into business workflows for tasks like anomaly detection, ticket triage, listing optimization, and intelligent reporting
- Build AI agents and multi-step pipelines that reduce manual intervention across warehouse ops, marketplace management, and client reporting
- Identify automation opportunities proactively — you don't wait to be asked
Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) tracking:
- Warehouse KPIs: receiving speed, fulfillment accuracy, storage utilization
- Shipping: carrier performance, cost trends, DIM weight analysis
- Marketplace performance: Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and beyond
- Use Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL to wrangle large datasets, surface insights, and feed automated reporting pipelines
WMS & Operational Systems (ShipHero)
- Serve as the internal owner of ShipHero — managing user accounts, permissions, client profiles, and system audits
- Handle support tickets, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions
- Ensure billable services are captured and system usage is compliant
Marketplace & Platform Operations
- Monitor and maintain Amazon Seller Central: listings, launches, accuracy, and case management
- Support ChannelAdvisor administration as needed
- Apply AI-assisted tools to improve listing consistency and optimization at scale
Data & Systems Architecture
- Build and maintain SQL workflows against SQL Server, Oracle, or similar databases
- Support API integrations and contribute to data pipeline design
- Document processes, flows, and system configurations (Visio or similar)
- Work within Agile/SDLC frameworks on cross-functional projects
What You Bring
Must-Haves
- Production experience with n8n — you've built and maintained real workflows, not just demos
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into business processes
- Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and automation scripting
- Solid SQL — complex queries, joins, data extraction from relational databases
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
- Comfort working with REST APIs and designing data integration workflows
- Sharp analytical instincts — you find the root cause, not the workaround
Strong Assets
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central or eCommerce marketplace operations
- Familiarity with WMS platforms (ShipHero experience is a significant plus)
- Advanced Excel / VBA for legacy system integration
- Exposure to AI agent frameworks, prompt engineering, or LLM orchestration tools (LangChain, CrewAI, etc.)
- Understanding of RAG pipelines, vector databases, or structured AI output patterns
