Delivery, Installation & Service Technician (Permanent part-time, turning to full-time as you gain experience)
Red Tag Fitness is looking to expand our team to help with delivering, installing, and setting up fitness equipment. This is a permanent part-time position leading to full-time role.
About the Job
You’ll be helping deliver and move cardio and strength equipment for both home and commercial customers. The job also involves installing the equipment, and at times doing basic troubleshooting or repairs. You’ll be dealing directly with customers, so being friendly and professional is important. When things are slower, you may help out with general tasks around the store and warehouse. Hours will depend on our installation schedule. We’ll provide on-the-job training.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need specific experience, but any background in moving, assembly, warehouse work, trades, or anything using hand tools is definitely helpful. We’re looking for someone who:
- Has good mechanical sense
- Can lift and move heavy equipment (sometimes in tight areas)
- Is comfortable talking with customers
- Pays attention to detail and can follow manuals
- Works well in a team but can also make good decisions on their own
- Is reliable, flexible, and presentable
- Has a valid Class 5 driver’s licence and a clean driving abstract
There may be occasional out-of-town travel and some overtime.
