Overview
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Front of House Staff to join our vibrant pub team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements efficiently
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
- Assist with food preparation and basic food handling tasks as needed
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables while maintaining quality service
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Uphold food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards
- Support team members during busy periods to maintain a smooth workflow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred, especially in serving or cashiering roles
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if required
