Ellwood Park Animal Hospital, located in Abbotsford, BC, is looking for an experienced, full-time Client Service Representative (CSR)/Receptionist/Veterinary assistant to join our team.
This individual will be an enthusiastic, punctual, responsible person with a strong work ethic to effectively serve the needs of our clients and patients in our multi-doctor, busy hospital
Job requirements:
Must have previous experience in a veterinary hospital, preferably with a certificate in a Veterinary Assistant program
Create a warm, welcoming, fear-free environment for our clients and patients
Demonstrate professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Capable of following direction from co-workers/DVMs and performing at a high standard
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations

Excellent communication skills
Duties include but are not limited to:
Answering phone calls on a multiline phone system
Scheduling appointments in PIMS system (Cornerstone)
Placing outbound calls to clients for follow-up and future appointment/bookings
Responding and managing email correspondence
Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, process payment
Filing electronic documents
Stocking shelves
Additional administrative & housekeeping duties including cleaning of hospital, vacuuming, mopping, deep cleaning
