Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various products and systems in accordance with company standards and client specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing hands-on experience and contributing to the successful completion of projects. The Installer will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through precise and efficient installation services.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that signs meet clients' specifications in terms of spelling, font, size, and medium.
- Loading and transporting signs, tools, and materials to the location safely.
- Preparing the site for installation by removing old signage, preparing the surface or structure, and securing the electrical connections.
- Ensuring the effective measurement, placement, connection, and installation of the sign.
- Test installed systems to verify proper operation and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the process.
- Clearing debris and materials from the site after each installation.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate installation schedules and ensure timely project completion
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain installation procedures and address any questions or concerns
Skills
- Proven experience in installation, construction, or related field preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with specific tools or systems relevant to the industry, as well as prior experience working with clients directly
