Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across hotel property spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work and a strong work ethic, with a focus on quality service. Prior experience in hotel cleaning is a plus. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchenettes, and common areas according to established standards
- Restock supplies such as paper products and cleaning agents as needed
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment properly to prevent accidents or damage
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
- Laundry machine training (washing/drying/folding etc)
- Ensure all cleaning duties meet health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in hospitality settings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation to work
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and climbing stairs if required
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties promptly
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
