Summary
We are seeking a reliable - Miner-Bolter to join our underground mining team. This role is responsible for installing ground support safely and effectively to maintain underground stability and support production activities. The successful candidate will operate underground bolting equipment, including Sandvik and MacLean bolters, while working closely with mine crews to ensure headings are properly supported and safe for ongoing development and extraction.
- Wage - $40.37/hr
- Production Bonus
- $80.74 /hr for OT call ins (2x wage)
- $70.65/hr for OT that's scheduled (1.75x wage)

Responsibilities
- Operate underground bolting equipment safely and efficiently, including Sandvik and MacLean bolters.
- Install ground support including rock bolts, screen, straps, and related support systems according to mine standards.
- Inspect headings and work areas for ground conditions before and during work.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections, routine servicing, and basic troubleshooting of bolting equipment.
- Identify and report unsafe ground conditions, equipment issues, or hazards.
- Work closely with miners, supervisors, and other underground crews to maintain production flow.
- Follow ground control standards, mine plans, and safe work procedures.
- Maintain accurate shift reports and communicate work completed during each shift.
- Support other underground mining tasks as required within the crew.
Qualifications
- Previous underground mining experience required.
- Experience operating Sandvik, MacLean, or similar underground bolting equipment preferred.
- Strong understanding of underground ground support practices and safe bolting procedures.
- Ability to recognize changing ground conditions and respond appropriately.
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment checks and minor troubleshooting.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a team-based underground environment.
- Commitment to safety, communication, and consistent execution.
