- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate wellness practices.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients at all times.
- Uphold all industry standards and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with clients through attentive listening and effective communication.
- Stay current with industry trends and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state or local regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatments and addressing client concerns effectively.
- Prior experience in massage therapy or related healthcare fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a compassionate approach at all times.
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts that may include evenings or weekends based on clinic needs.
