Leader Masonry of RES Group of companies is seeking a estimator to join our estimating team at our head office in cookstown.
Key Responsibilities
- Search for proposal and bid opportunities on online portals.
- Support the preparation of project prequalifications and proposals as a subject matter expert.
- Conduct a detailed review and analysis of contract documents before tender closings.
- Assess project risks and opportunities; recommend risk mitigation measures.
- Complete quantity take-offs from plans and drawings.
- Maintain excellent relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and consultants.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience with a general contractor in the Ontario region
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and management processes.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret plans, drawings, sketches, and specifications.
- Superior knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Bluebeam software
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
