We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Associate to join our team. This is a front-line showroom role where you’ll help homeowners and contractors make informed decisions for their landscaping and construction projects.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, learning technical products, and being part of a strong team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide inside sales support for landscape materials and supplies
- Assist homeowners and contractors with product selection and project solutions
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication
- Process orders, quotes, and paperwork accurately
- Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment
- Work collaboratively with coworkers and yard staff
- Contribute to a safe and efficient workplace
Qualifications & Skills
- While experience in landscaping, construction, or building materials is an asset, strong math skills and the ability to quickly learn new products are key to success in this role
- Customer service and sales abilities
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and work ethic
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Safety-conscious mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Experience using Spire software is an asset
- Must have strong math skills and ability to estimate materials
- Knowledge of sales cycle fundamentals is an asset
- A good sense of humour and positive attitude are always appreciated
