Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented, full time, Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects for our family owned business. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction management, and the ability to coordinate teams effectively. This role is vital in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily operations on-site, managing safety protocols, and maintaining clear communication with clients and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and construction crews to ensure quality work and safety compliance
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings to promote a safe working environment
- Prepare progress reports and update project schedules regularly to reflect current status
- Minimum 40 hours per week, plus overtime when required
Requirements
- Valid Drivers License
- Must have local accommodations
- Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction processes and management practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols on construction sites
- Construction-related certifications or licenses are preferred but not mandatory
