True Tone Painting is looking for an experienced Production Painter to join our team for work starting between July 6 and July 14, 2026.
We are looking for someone professional, reliable, responsible, and experienced in residential painting. This position is for someone who understands the full painting process from preparation to final quality control and can work efficiently on active job sites.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing job sites, protecting surfaces, masking, sanding, cleaning, and organizing materials
Patching and repairing drywall, wood, trim, doors, cabinets, and other surfaces
Cutting, rolling, brushing, and spraying with an airless sprayer
Painting walls, ceilings, doors, trim, cabinets, and other residential surfaces
Assisting with cabinet removal, equipment loading, material handling, and job site setup/cleanup
Performing quality control checks throughout the job
Understanding paint products, sprayer use, prep requirements, and proper finishing standards
Communicating professionally with clients when required
Managing and respecting company tools, vehicles, equipment, and materials
Possible flooring-related work depending on the project
Requirements:
Residential painting experience is required
Must know how to cut, roll, brush, prep, and spray
Must be located in Ottawa
Must have a valid G-class driver’s licence and your own vehicle
Must be able to travel to Barrhaven, where our shop is located and where most jobs are based
Must be physically able to lift equipment, carry materials, move boxes, and work on active residential job sites
Must be professional, reliable, clean, and respectful on client properties
Background check required
This is a hands-on production painting role for someone who takes pride in clean prep, clean finishes, and professional job site conduct.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00-$29.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
