Lawn Care Technician – Part-Time (Potential to Grow)
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Technician to join our team and help maintain high-quality, healthy, and visually appealing landscapes for our clients. This is a part-time position (approximately 2 days per week), with the potential for additional hours and more consistent work as more jobs are secured.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work and is looking to grow within the landscaping and property maintenance industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing
- Assist with landscape installation projects (trees, shrubs, flowers, mulch, etc.)
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, and general landscape work
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Deliver professional customer service and communicate with clients as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines
Qualifications
- Experience in landscaping, gardening, horticulture, or related work preferred
- Familiarity with landscaping tools, power tools, and outdoor equipment
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset
- Experience with irrigation systems or excavation equipment is an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Valid driver’s licence preferred
