Relevant du directeur des opérations, le maître électricien est responsable de la supervision et de l'exécution de tous les travaux sur le terrain, conformément aux exigences de la RBQ et en ce qui concerne le budget, l'échéancier, le rendement général et la rentabilité des projets.
Responsabilités principales:
Assurer le respect de toutes les exigences de la Régie du bâtiment du Qc (RBQ) et la conformité au Code de construction du Québec, Chapitre V – Électricité
Veiller à l'application des politiques, procédures, normes de sécurité et programmes environnementaux de l'entreprise sur tous les projets
Interpréter les schémas électriques, les plans, les spécifications et la documentation technique
Superviser et soutenir l'installation des systèmes, services et équipements électriques sur l'ensemble des projets
Contribuer au dépannage, à la résolution des problèmes et au traitement rapide des incidents électriques
Suivre la performance des projets, notamment l'utilisation de la main-d'œuvre, les matériaux, le contrôle de la qualité, la sécurité et le respect des échéanciers
Accompagner les équipes de projet en matière de maîtrise des coûts, de respect des échéanciers et d'utilisation efficace des ressources
Analyser l'avancement des projets et contribuer aux rapports mensuels sur les coûts, les échéanciers et les flux de trésorerie
Participer à l'estimation des activités, y compris les heures de travail, les coûts des matériaux, l'outillage, l'équipement et la planification
Participer à la préparation des appels d'offres, des propositions et des présentations, au besoin
S'assurer que tous les bons de commande sont préparés, examinés et signés par les clients
Coordonner avec les équipes de projet, les sous-traitants et les parties prenantes internes la résolution des problèmes techniques ou opérationnels
Contribuer à l’expertise technique en matière de planification organisationnelle, de stratégie et d'initiatives d'amélioration continue
Connaissances et expérience requises:
Minimum de 5 à 10 ans d'expérience en tant que maître électricien, de préférence à titre de maître électricien désigné
Licence de maître électricien valide, avec la capacité de maintenir la licence RBQ d'entrepreneur en électricité de l'entreprise
Formation technique, par exemple un diplôme d'ingénieur de quatre ans, un diplôme d'études collégiales techniques ou une combinaison équivalente de formation et d'expérience pertinente
Solide connaissance du secteur de la construction, des normes électriques et des pratiques opérationnelles
Expérience en distribution d'énergie électrique;
Expérience avérée de travail dans un environnement axé sur les projets; l'expérience en leadership ou en supervision est un atout
Excellentes aptitudes à la communication orale et écrite et excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles
Sens de l'organisation aiguisé et excellentes aptitudes d'analyse, de planification et d'administration

Reporting to the Manager, Operations the Master Electrician is responsible for the oversight and execution of all field work per ESA requirements, as it relates to projects’ budget, schedule, general performance and profitability.
What You'll Do Here:
Responsible for meeting all Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) requirements and ensuring full electrical code compliance
Ensure company policies, procedures, safety standards, and environmental programs are followed on all projects
Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation
Oversee and support the installation of electrical systems, services, and equipment across projects
Assist with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and resolving electrical issues in a timely manner
Monitor project performance including labour usage, materials, quality control, safety, and scheduling
Support project teams with cost awareness, scheduling adherence, and efficient resource utilization
Review project progress and contribute to monthly reporting on costs, schedules, and cash flow
Assist in estimating activities including labour hours, material costs, tools, equipment, and scheduling
Participate in bid preparation, proposals, and presentations as required
Ensure all work orders are prepared, reviewed, and signed by customers
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical or operational issues
Contribute technical expertise to organizational planning, strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring to the Team:
Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Master Electrician, preferably in a Designated Master Electrician role
Valid Master Electrician license, with the ability to maintain the company’s RBQ Electrical Contractor License
Technical education such as a four-year engineering degree, technical college diploma, or an equivalent combination of training and related experience
Strong knowledge of the construction industry, electrical codes, and operational practices
Experience in electrical distribution
Proven experience working in a project-based environment; leadership or supervisory experience is an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong analytical, planning, and administrative abilities
Exceptional attention to detail, prioritization, and time-management skills
Strong customer service and relationship-building capabilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
