Pack Leader (Part-Time) – spot's place | daycare | boarding | training | grooming
Spot’s Place is looking for a reliable and experienced Pack Leader to join our team. This is a hands-on role focused on dog safety, behavior management, and maintaining structure within group play.
This position is not just about playing with dogs—it requires strong awareness, confidence, and the ability to manage multiple dogs in a fast-paced daycare environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise group play and ensure safe, appropriate interactions between dogs
- Monitor dog behavior and body language at all times
- Manage energy levels and step in to prevent or de-escalate conflicts
- Maintain structure and reinforce basic manners within the group
- Follow all safety protocols and facility procedures
- Clean and maintain play areas to ensure a safe environment
- Communicate clearly with team members regarding dog behavior and incidents
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with dogs (daycare, training, kennel, or similar required)
- Strong understanding of dog body language and behavior
- Ability to confidently manage multiple dogs at once
- Calm, assertive, and attentive personality
- Physically able to be on your feet, move quickly, and handle active dogs
- Reliable and punctual

Position Details
