We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The role involves carpentry work related to HVAC installations, renovations, and mechanical projects. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures, ensuring all work meets safety standards and project specifications. This position requires travel to job sites primarily in the Eganville area, with potential work in other surrounding locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, and custom installations.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians and plumbers on integrated projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Travel to and from job sites as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
- Must be able to travel and work in the Eganville area.
- Own reliable truck and personal tools required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
- Certification or apprenticeship in carpentry is an asset.
