Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator needed for busy, well-established excavation company located in Pickering.

TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Industrial, Commercial and Institutional
EXPERIENCED IN OPERATING: Excavator, Loader, Bulldozer, Front End Loader and Compactor
APPLICANT/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Sewer Watermain & Site Services experience a MUST
*must submit prior to start of work:
- Worker Health & Safety Awareness in 4 steps certificate
- valid Confined Space Awareness certificate
- valid WHMIS certificate
- First Aid certificate (an asset)
DUTIES INCLUDE, but not limited to:
*Fine Grading and Finishing
*Sloping and banking
*Backfilling/Excavating
*Haul Road Maintenance
*Land Cleaning
*Rough Grading
*Stock Piling
*Stripping
*Sub-grade Excavating
*Sub-grade Rolling
*Trenching
*Material Handling
*Slope Grooming
Other duties:
*clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
*operate computer-controlled equipment (Topcon GPS)
*conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
*secure special attachments to equipment
*perform minor repairs to equipment
*utilize safety data sheets
Own Tools/Equipment: PPE, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles
**NOTE: Starting salary will be determined based on relevant experience and overall qualifications.

Pay: $38.00-$50.00 per hour
