Bayview Vision Care is an independent Optometry Office & Eyewear Boutique, serving the Bayview Village neighbourhood for over 20 years. We offer full scale eyecare and myopia management services.
We're looking for a friendly, hard working Optician/Optometric Assistant who thrives in a busy, fast paced environment.
We’re looking for someone who is:

- Detail-oriented, organized, and has great time management skills

- Able to adapt to changing environments when necessary
- Experienced in preliminary testing (preferred)
- Professional, energetic, and committed to providing a stellar patient experience
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- work directly with patients throughout their visit including greeting them at the door, checking them in, training, submitting to insurance etc.
- scheduling appointments and follow ups.
- perform preliminary testing on patients for doctors Operation of auto-refractor, auto tonometer, topographer, OCT, VF, and OPTOS.
- Entering lab orders and accurate patient information, following up with labs/ vendors as needed
- Takes pride in the appearance of the store.
- Must be available Saturdays and some evening hrs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
