As Bitkernel's Technical Recruiter, you will own the recruitment function for our Vancouver office, partnering closely with leaders across the organization to identify hiring priorities, develop recruitment strategies, and deliver top-tier talent.

Talent Acquisition

Lead full-cycle recruitment for all Vancouver-based positions and support in other locations as needed.

Recruit for technical and product-focused roles including Software Developers (Frontend, Backend, Full Stack, Mobile), DevOps Engineers, QA / Automation Engineers, Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Technical Leads, and Engineering Leaders.

Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.

Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

Conduct recruiter screenings and coordinate interview processes.

Manage offers, negotiations, and hiring logistics.

Strategic Partnership

Partner with leaders across Engineering, Product, Design, and Operations to understand hiring needs and business priorities.

Provide market insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive hiring practices.

Act as a trusted advisor throughout the recruitment process.
Recruitment Process & Operations

Partner with HR and business leaders to continuously improve recruitment processes, interview practices, and hiring standards.

Ensure a seamless transition from recruitment through onboarding.

Utilize AI-powered recruiting tools where appropriate to increase efficiency while ensuring a human remains at the center of the hiring process.

Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting within Rippling.

Track and report on key recruitment metrics including pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring outcomes.
Employer Branding & Community Engagement

Help strengthen and promote Bitkernel’s employer brand within the Vancouver technology community.

Attend networking events, conferences, meetups, and industry gatherings to build relationships and increase awareness of Bitkernel.

5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience within a SaaS, software, or technology company.

Hands-on experience using Rippling & LinkedIn Recruiter.

Proven experience leading recruitment for technical positions.

Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leaders to prioritize hiring needs and build recruitment strategies.

Experience managing recruitment workflows within an Applicant Tracking System and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

Strong sourcing capabilities with a track record of identifying and engaging passive candidates.

Strong understanding of how to leverage AI tools to improve recruitment efficiency while maintaining a thoughtful, human-centered hiring process.

Established professional network within Vancouver and the surrounding technology community.

Experience participating in or leading a Rippling implementation, ATS setup, or recruitment process redesign.

The pay range for this role is:
75,000 - 90,000 CAD per year (Vancouver).
