Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to produce high-quality precision parts. Experience with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers, and CAD software is highly desirable. The CNC Operator will play a critical role in ensuring manufacturing efficiency, quality control, and safety standards are met consistently.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machinery including milling machines, lathes, and press brakes using Fanuc controls and CNC programming skills.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to produce precise components.
- Program CNC machines utilizing CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks to optimize machining processes.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues related to machining operations.
- Conduct quality control checks using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Assist with welding, assembly, packaging, and warehouse tasks as needed to support production workflows.
- Use mechanical knowledge and basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during setup and operation.
- Operate forklifts when necessary to move raw materials or finished products within the warehouse or manufacturing floor.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to uphold safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and CNC programming is required.
- Experience with blueprint reading, CAD software (SolidWorks preferred), and machining processes including welding is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of press brake machines, hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements, quality control procedures, and warehouse operations is preferred.
- Prior experience in manufacturing environments involving machining, assembly, packaging, or warehouse activities will be considered an asset.
- Candidates should demonstrate mechanical aptitude combined with attention to detail to ensure precision in production tasks. Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
