Inspiris designs and delivers document-management and process-automation solutions that help organizations work smarter. We’re growing our practice in two directions at once: deepening our long-standing Laserfiche expertise — now supercharged by Laserfiche’s native AI — and rapidly expanding into Microsoft 365 Copilot and Power Platform automation. We’re seeking an organized, technically capable Solutions Architect / Project Manager / Business Analyst to lead solution projects from discovery and design through delivery, testing, and customer training across both platforms.
This is a solution-architecture and delivery-leadership role — not a hands-on developer position. You’ll design solutions at a high level, scope and direct the developers who build them, lead discovery and analysis, manage budgets and customers, and lead QA — owning the project end to end. You’ll bring (or quickly develop) skills with AI-assisted automation, and you’ll commit to becoming a Laserfiche expert to support and grow our established customer base.
The Platforms You’ll Work Across
- Laserfiche — Workflow, Forms, records management, and the Laserfiche AI suite (Smart Fields for intelligent capture, Smart Chat for natural-language document search, and AI for Workflow) to accelerate delivery for existing and new Laserfiche customers.
- Microsoft 365 Copilot & Power Platform — Copilot Studio agents, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, and Microsoft Graph integrations to deliver the next generation of AI automation solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Support & Project Initiation
- Act as a solution-content contributor to the pre-sales process — supplying the technical narratives, solution descriptions, and capability detail that proposals and RFP responses are built from. Company leadership owns the pre-sales relationship and proposal lead; how much writing you take on is flexible and something we'll shape together based on your strengths.
- Help break opportunities into modules, deliverables, and rough sizing across Laserfiche and Microsoft solution options.
- Estimate project hours, timelines, and resources; develop high-level solution architecture and design outlines.
- Recommend the right platform (Laserfiche, Microsoft 365 Copilot / Power Platform, or a combination) based on customer needs.
Discovery & Business Analysis
- Lead client discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to surface business goals, pain points, and current-state processes.
- Map as-is and to-be processes, identifying automation and AI opportunities.
- Elicit, document, and prioritize functional and technical requirements; own scope definition and requirements traceability.
- Produce clear requirements artifacts — process maps, user stories, functional specs — that bridge client intent and developer execution.
- Facilitate solution-validation sessions to confirm designs meet stated needs before build begins.
Project Planning & Execution
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for developers.
- Decompose projects into actionable components and assign tasks to programming staff.
- Maintain schedules, track progress, and ensure milestones are met.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Inspiris and the customer throughout the project lifecycle.
Solution Architecture & AI-Accelerated Delivery
- Shape document-management and automation solutions at a high level, selecting the right mix of Laserfiche and Microsoft 365 capabilities for each customer.
- Co-design solutions collaboratively with our lead developer. The design phase is intentionally a two-way partnership — you bring the client context, requirements, and solution vision; our lead developer brings deep platform knowledge. This collaboration is how you’ll come up to speed on the technical side, and it lets the lead developer step back into the delivery process to support project management.
- Together, define how Laserfiche AI (Smart Fields, Smart Chat, AI for Workflow) and Microsoft Copilot Studio / Power Platform components fit together to meet requirements, refining the design iteratively rather than handing off a finished spec.
- Guide developers through the build, reviewing their work against the agreed architecture and requirements. (You’ll oversee and validate the solution, not write the production code yourself.)
- Apply generative-AI and intelligent-automation best practices — data grounding, output quality, governance — to keep solution designs sound and realistic.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Manage project budgets, track hours, and keep delivery aligned with estimates.
- Prepare regular progress reports for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Initiate detailed billing instructions for accounting, including progress payments and milestone invoicing.
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Own test planning and lead QA cycles for both traditional and AI-driven solutions.
- Coordinate customer testing, gather feedback, and validate that delivered solutions and AI outputs meet requirements before release.
- Translate customer issues into actionable rework items for developers and confirm fixes.
Customer Training & Implementation
- Prepare training materials and deliver end-user training across Laserfiche and Microsoft solutions.
- Support customers during rollout and early adoption; ensure a smooth handoff to support / maintenance.
What We Need Day-One vs. What You Can Grow Into
This is a senior, multi-disciplinary consultant role. We don’t expect day-one depth in every area — the table below shows what’s essential up front and what we’ll help you develop.
Must Have Day-One
- Project management — budgets, schedules, delivery oversight
- Business analysis — discovery, requirements, process mapping
- Solution architecture — high-level design and directing developers
- Architect-level technical fluency in at least one ECM / automation platform
- Strong client-facing communication
- Expertise in — or a firm commitment to master — Laserfiche
Will Train / Develop
- Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and Power Platform depth
- Laserfiche platform mastery (if not already held)
- Formal end-user training delivery
- Contributing solution content to proposals and RFP responses
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years in software project management, business analysis, or product ownership. We’re looking for practical, hands-on project leadership — not a formal PMP or other PM certification. Sound delivery instincts matter more than credentials.
- Strong grasp of software development and solution-delivery lifecycles.
- Strong business-analysis capability: requirements elicitation, stakeholder / discovery interviews, process mapping (as-is / to-be), and structured requirements documentation.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and to decompose document-centric processes into automated workflows.
- Ability to architect solutions at a high level and direct a development team — enough technical fluency to design, scope, and oversee solutions without needing to write production code yourself.
- Excellent written communication for requirements, specifications, and solution documentation.
- Experience with budgeting, estimating, and project financial tracking.
- Experience leading QA and validating delivered software, plus strong customer-facing communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Willingness and aptitude to train to an expert level on Laserfiche to support our existing customer base. (Direct Laserfiche experience is a strong asset; if you don’t have it yet, you must be eager to master it.)
Preferred & Developing Skills (Microsoft AI — We’ll Help You Grow These)
We know these AI skillsets are still new — the tools below have only existed for a short time, and the landscape shifts month to month. We don’t expect a polished résumé in every one. What matters most to us is the underlying intelligence and capability to learn quickly, and genuine comfort working with fast-changing technology.
A working, architectural understanding of these tools — enough to design solutions and direct developers — is a strong asset. You do not need to be a hands-on developer in all of them:
- Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio — architecting agents / copilots and directing their build.
- Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse) — solution design and oversight.
- Microsoft Graph, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 administration fundamentals.

- Open-hearted and growth-minded — open to feedback and willing to do the inner work of personal development.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A fast, self-directed learner who’s energized by emerging AI tools.
- Comfortable working independently and leading cross-functional teams.
- A clear, professional communicator who builds trust with clients and developers alike.
