We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facility and equipment.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns
Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before failures occur
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company policies
Assist with installation and setup of new equipment and machinery
Coordinate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime
Maintain tools, parts inventory, and maintenance supplies
Support general facility maintenance including lighting, plumbing, and minor building repairs

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Maintenance Technician certification, Millwright certification, or related trade experience considered an asset
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or commercial environment preferred
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical diagrams
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to lift up to [50 lbs / 23 kg] and work in various physical conditions

Preferred Skills

Experience with PLC troubleshooting
Welding or fabrication experience
Knowledge of HVAC systems
Forklift or aerial lift certification
Familiarity with CMMS software
