DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain all facility equipment
- Complete building maintenance, includes lighting, furniture, plumbing, etc.
- Machine repair and installation, includes mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatics.
- Maintain and repair small tools (deburring tools, small hand tools, etc.)
- Perform regular routine maintenance on all machinery, includes oil / coolant changes, machine cleaning, filter changes, etc.)
- Maintain inventory of supplies, includes oils, coolants. Parts and janitorial.
- Required to assist other departments when requested
- Forklift driving
- Must be capable of working with the following machines and equipment:
- All basic hand and power tools
- Some tool room equipment (mills, lathes, etc.)
- Basic test equipment
- Welding environment
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Obtain Enhanced Security Clearance from the Government of Canada
- Maintenance of secure and confidential company information
- Adherence to Colt Canada Corporation’s policies and procedures
- Must ensure all health and safety requirements for equipment and maintenance are adhered to.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Industrial Millwright Certification 433A or 442A
- Certified 309A Electrician is preferred
- Experience with CNC machines and other machine shop equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repair (electrical, electronic, and mechanical).
- Able to do mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical / electronic troubleshooting.
- Able to read blueprints –electrical / mechanical.
- Basic carpentry / plumbing skills.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willing to learn and train in other areas of the maintenance field.

- Be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance under the Contract Security Program (CSP), as required for the role
