Position: Maintenance Planner
Shift: Conventional Shift (days)
Hourly Rate of Pay:$36.57
Reporting to the Plant Engineer, the Maintenance Planner will be directly responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance work and activities needed to properly maintain all plan equipment and facilities. They will work closely with the Mechanical Lead Hand, Electrical Lead Hand, and MRO coordinator, to ensure maintenance work is planned and prioritized accordingly.
What you will be doing:

Plan and schedule all maintenance work that will drive a culture of zero injuries and zero breakdowns
-
Use EAM software daily to manage all work orders and preventive maintenance plans
-
Plan and schedule all maintenance work two (2) weeks in advance and communicate to all affected parties
-
Work closely with MRO coordinator to update spare parts lists in MP2 as required
-
Use MS Excel to prepare timelines, and track costs for planned outages
-
Ensure all parties are kitted and delivered to jobs
-
Communicate with contractors for planned outage work
-
Ensure all work orders have necessary attachments printed; examples include HEPC's, check sheets, and any work instructions
-
Identify areas for improvement including safety risks, PM task improvements and general operating improvements
-
Understand the importance of Preventative/Predictive Maintenance plan and schedule all related activities to support this approach

Use COUPA to create purchase orders for contracted labor
-
Perform other similar duties as assigned

Good understanding of preventative maintenance skills and mechanical and electrical equipment

Excellent organizational skills

Strong level of computer skills and proficiency with MS Word and Excel

Effective verbal and written communication skills
-
Self-motivation and strong work ethic

College certification in Engineering or related field is preferred

Available to work conventional shift (days) and willing to work overtime, as required
